We started with different stories...

I'm Leila

I’m Shadi

A few years ago, each of us arrived in this country with our own, very different backstory. Living somewhere new slowly pulls you into its own narrative, and somewhere along the way, you realize you belong to it. With all the years behind us and all the time we’ve spent here, we proudly call this place part of who we are.

Our lives were running on separate tracks — until this land stitched them together. We became classmates, studying the same field at the same college, and before long, threads began to weave: shared walks through city streets, long talks over coffee, dancing at celebrations, raising glasses to life. We built the kind of stories that only friendship can make.

But it wasn’t just friendship...

When two creative souls meet, there’s always the possibility of a new chapter.

Leila has been in love with cooking and cake-making for as long as she can remember, creating cakes that taste divine and look like one-of-a-kind works of art.

Shadi has lived her entire life deeply immersed in the world of art — breathing life into works shaped from paper, textiles, fibers, and color, each carrying its own soul and story.

Two Paths, One Table

One day, while Leila was decorating a friend’s birthday cake, a message from Shadi popped up — a photo of a freshly made textile piece, full of texture and color. A spark went off:
“What if something like this could be created on a cake?”
She said it out loud. Shadi grinned:
“Why not? I love cake. I love craft. What could be better?”

That was the first stitch in our shared story. A simple idea, but the beginning of something layered with flavor, creativity, and connection. And now, it’s meant to grow with you — because every person who walks into our space brings their own taste, color, and page to the narrative.
We’ve built a warm, open space where our story meets yours — a place to slow down, to play, to create something beautiful (and delicious), and to share it.

It doesn’t matter where you’re from; what matters is that right here, in this moment, we’re at the same table.
It’s a chance to talk, to laugh, to make friends, to eat cake, and to give meaning to our days.
And maybe, to add another layer to the story we’re all writing together.
